With a population of more than 50 billion individuals, this species of bird is the most present in the world. There is even more chucks than all species of birth gather.

Gallus gallus domesticus


Males, called cocks, are very different of females, the chucks. Cocks have a bigger size, a crest bright red and feathers with colors. He has also a particulary cry, the famous "cock-a-doodle-do". From 5 to 9 months (according to breeds), chucks lay even if there is no cocks. They can lay an egg per day or one every 2 days. Their eggs are ovums no fecundated.
