It's a specie of domestic camelide south-American which look like a little llama. In opposite of llamas, alpagas had not been domesticated for be human's help, but for them wool, that permit to make a lot of kind of clothes, and particularly ponchos. Beyond the size and the quality of the wool, an alpaga can give approximately 2 to 3 kg of wool per year.

He comes from the Andes (Peru, Bolivia, Chilli and Argentina)
